Things happen quickly these days! Thanks to comments from David Crotty with nice embedded links, two updates emerged last night I think people will be interested in. I wanted to use this post to highlight them beyond the comment threads:
- Amazon has acquired a company that makes multitouch flexible screens, and speculation is that they’re making a full-color e-reader to rival Apple’s iPad
- Google has launched social functionality into what one observer is calling it’s “two-way search.” While I tried it, and it didn’t work well, they are clearly countering moves like yesterday’s by start-up Aardvark. (That didn’t last long.)
