Thank You for the Webby Votes!

Webby Awards

The Webby Awards People’s Voice competition is now over. After a tremendous effort from the scholarly publishing and information specialist community, the raw power of numbers worked against us. Despite this, our little blog appears to have finished a very respectable 3rd, after the New York Times’ DealBook and Mashable.com.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us, emailed to get others to vote for us, tolerated our incessant pleas for votes, and commended us privately and publicly for the nomination. It’s definitely a highlight in our brief (so far) blogging careers, and we’re motivated by your support.

Sincerely,

The Chefs in the Scholarly Kitchen
