Roger Schonfeld photoIt gives me great pleasure to announce the latest addition to our crew of bloggers at The Scholarly Kitchen, Roger Schonfeld. Roger is the Director of the Library and Scholarly Communication Program for Ithaka S+R, the not-for-profit consulting service for the academic community. Roger leads studies of academics’ and students’ attitudes, practices and needs. He performs research on the changing role of the academic library, learned society, and scholarly publisher. Roger’s full bio can be found on our About page.

Roger’s research has long been a critical tool for understanding the needs of the scholarly community and I’m delighted to have him bring his perspective to readers of The Scholarly Kitchen.
