Benedetta Siviero is a Library Trainee at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, where she works on library communication, digital collections, and user engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in Book and Digital Media Studies from Leiden University, with a focus on academic publishing, digital heritage, and accessibility.

Her research interests include open access publishing, particularly Diamond Open Access, scholarly communication ecosystems, and inclusive publishing practices. She has researched open access publishing behaviors and contributed to international initiatives supporting non-profit publishing infrastructures. Her recent work explores the role of legal frameworks and metadata in improving access to content for users with visual and print disabilities.
