Johanssen Obanda is a Social Innovator who works with AfricArXiv to build the organization’s scholarly community in Africa. After spending nearly five years working in communication and strategy development, Johanssen knows what truly drives conversations and actions that lead to positive social impact. It is how well you connect with people you are trying to help and communicate your understanding back to them. In addition to his extensive social innovation experience, Johanssen is a trained Biochemist from Egerton University.
A pilot series of community peer review events from four organizations (AfricArXiv, Eider Africa, TCC Africa, and PREreview) have been developed to enable equitable practices of research evaluation and review.
