Kristen Overstreet is VP, Editorial Partnerships, at KGL Editorial. co-founded Origin Editorial, LLC, in 2010 and served as Managing Partner until the company’s acquisition by KGL in 2025. She continues to lead editorial teams, ensuring that KGL’s editorial services consistently meet and exceed client expectations. Kristen works alongside her KGL colleagues to deliver solutions that elevate journal operations and improve peer review management. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles focused on implementing effective policies and procedures for scholarly publishing. Kristen is a Past President of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors (ISMTE) and has dedicated 25 years to advancing editorial excellence. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English Literature from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
