Guest Post — Reporting from LIBER 2025: Policy Influence, Library Agency, and Researcher-First Open Access Moves
Today’s guest bloggers reflect on the the LIBER Annual Conference in Lausanne (2–4 July).
Martina Sollai is an Institutional Partnerships Key Account Manager at Frontiers, working in the EMEA region. She engages and collaborates with academic libraries, consortia, and research funders who wish to support their researchers’ choice to publish Open Access by partnering with Frontiers, with the ultimate goal of accelerating the Open Science transition. Martina earned her PhD in marine microbiology and biogeochemistry at Utrecht University and is a former researcher in marine biogeochemistry and paleoclimate at the Royal Institute for Sea Research – NIOZ. She previously worked as a content commissioning editor and team lead at Frontiers, and as a consultant in project management for marine conservation projects, fundraiser, and content creator at the NGO Swiss Cetacean Society, SCS.
