team2In case you haven’t noticed, we’ve been adding to our team of Chefs at The Scholarly Kitchen as of late, in an effort to bring in some new voices and different points of view. Our latest addition is Charlie Rapple, whose first post is available today.

Charlie is a co-founder of Kudos, which helps researchers, institutions, funders and publishers maximize the visibility of research (covered in 2013 in this post). Charlie is also the Associate Director of strategic publishing consultancy TBI Communications, Treasurer of UKSG, and an Associate Editor of Learned Publishing. I think what’s particularly interesting about having Charlie at the Kitchen is that she very proudly identifies herself as a marketer, and will bring that perspective to her posts to help us all understand the continuously growing value and importance of that function in our business.
