After two decades in academic publishing, Zeger Karssen founded World Brain Scholar in 2022, leading a research and innovation team focused on developing AI solutions for the publishing industry. Before that, he founded Atlantis Press, one of the first genuine Open Access publishers. Zeger also teaches digital publishing and science at  Université Libre de Bruxelles.
