With the US July 4th holiday and the UK’s election that same day, we thought this an ideal time to take a few days off. I saw this tweet recently which made me think a little bit about “out of office” messages, and the struggles we all have to disconnect:

Tweet reading: As Matt Weirauch once told me, "I write that I will have 'limited access to my email', which in reality, is something that hasn't happened since the 90s"

I’m hoping you’ll do better than I will as far as breaking away.

In the meantime, enjoy the summer if it’s summer where you are. As always, remember, this is the coolest summer you’ll see for the rest of your life. I plan to spend it in the sun, listening to Blondie. Surf’s up!
