We are off for the US Labor Day holiday, which both marks the end of summer and is meant to honor and recognize the contributions of laborers. With that in mind, we celebrate all who put in the hard work that makes scholarly communications function. It’s often tedious and unglamorous work, but without it (as we’ve seen where things are left to randomness and volunteerism), it doesn’t get done. Like the man says, you got to get behind the mule in the morning and plow. Back tomorrow with a new post.
