Alison Mudditt

Alison Mudditt has been Chief Executive Officer of the Public Library of Science (PLOS) since 2017, leading the organization through strategic and financial transformation and toward a fundamentally new model for open science publishing. Previously she served as Director of the University of California Press and Executive Vice President at Sage, building a publishing career spanning more than 35 years. She is a regular contributor to The Scholarly Kitchen blog and a frequent speaker at industry events.
