We are very pleased to announce that Stephanie Lovegrove Hansen has graciously agreed to join The Scholarly Kitchen as a regular contributor. Stephanie is the Vice President of Marketing at Silverchair. Stephanie has been writing for us, on and off, since 2020, and if you’ve been involved with SSP in any way over recent years. you’ve probably already met Stephanie as she has been everywhere in helping the organization grow and meet the needs of our members. Please join me in welcoming Stephanie, her previous guest posts can be found here, and her first official post as a Chef, “Five Tips for Hosting a Sustainable Event“, is now available.

You may also notice a couple of pictures missing from our masthead. Being a full time Scholarly Kitchen Chef can be a time consuming process, and as our community continues to evolve, many of our treasured authors find themselves in new situations, both professionally and personally, that require much of their attention. We’re sad to see long time contributors like Ann Michael, Karin Wulf, Jasmine Wallace, and Avi Staiman rotate off to “alumni” Chef status, but each has an open invitation to continue contributing to the blog whenever possible. In the meantime, I’d like to express my personal gratitude to each — thank you each so much for your contributions to the Kitchen, and I know that they’ve meant a great deal to the community.
