Guest Post — Not the Real Housewives of Scholarly Publishing
Today’s guest bloggers reflect on an SSP panel conversation about how scholarly publishing is not only built through shared work but also through shared understanding.
Chyanne Turner is the digital publishing associate at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) at the Philadelphia office, where she has worked with the digital publishing team to support the production and publication of AACR’s research journals since October 2025. She received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and creative writing at St. Lawrence University and recently completed her master’s degree in inorganic materials chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. Chyanne is a member of the 2026 SSP Fellowship cohort and looks forward to expanding her knowledge of the scholarly publishing industry as an early-career professional.
