Dr Danny Kingsley is a thought leader in the international scholarly communication space. She works as a consultant and is a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science. She has consulted for multiple Australian universities since returning from the UK where she worked as the Deputy Director of Cambridge University Libraries (Scholarly Communication & Research Services) from 2015-2019. She established Open Access Australasia in 2013. Danny worked as Manager of Scholarly Communication at the Australian National University after completing her 2008 PhD there on open access.
Danny Kingsley suggests that research integrity begins with the training researchers receive at university. Achieving Open Research and increasing reproducibility requires systematic research training that focuses specifically on research practice.
