Eloisa Viggiani is a specialist in bibliographic databases and science evaluation, providing analysis, insights and recommendations around science evaluations and the responsible use of indicators for the assessment of research institutions and individual researchers. Her experience includes more than 15 years in delivering consulting services to universities, research funding agencies, and government organizations in Latin America around the assessment and evaluation of research and higher education, and around topics of special interest in the region, such as Open Science, academic mobility/Brain Drain, and regional inequalities. Eloisa has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a PhD in Education in Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
