We are wrapping up our year in The Scholarly Kitchen, and looking to some much-needed time off. Jill O’Neill’s post earlier this month got us thinking about books as physical objects, and so we leave you with what has become an annual listing of the year’s most beautiful books. There’s something meditative about watching someone page through some gorgeous designs (and hopefully some last minute gift ideas can be found for those who haven’t quite finished their holiday shopping). We’ll be back in January with new posts.
