The Medical Library Association (MLA) is seeking 15 bloggers to cover their conference in Chicago, May 16-21. As an incentive, the MLA is offering its bloggers free wireless access at the hotel throughout the conference. As the MLA puts it:

If you blog and want the convenience of wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, this is a great opportunity for you. Even if you already have a wireless solution, consider becoming an ‘Official MLA Conference Blogger.’ Since the number of wireless accounts is limited, the process is competitive. The panel of judges will consider the blogger’s experience and blog appearance and functionalities.

There is an entry form for potential bloggers. As the MLA states, it is a competitive process.

At an estimate $10 per day for wireless access, this is a $60+ value for bloggers.

Now, how much are they paying attendees to not Twitter about their conference?
