My, what a week it’s been! Two people I admire greatly have agreed to join the Scholarly Kitchen, serving up hot and tasty insights for our hungry STM guests. First, Nature Publishing Group’s Howard Ratner agreed to be an occasional contributor. Now, Phil Davis, a self-described “PhD student (and recovering Science librarian)” from Cornell University has agreed to whip up some culinary tidbits now and again.

Phil has been an active reader of the Scholarly Kitchen, and has always contributed salient comments. He’s a fair, thoughtful observer of issues in scholarly communication, an excellent writer, and complements the endeavor very well.

A great week! Thanks to both Howard and Phil. We’re looking forward to hearing from you both!
