Many of us consider the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) our professional “home”, and although we will admit to some bias around here, we consider perusing The Scholarly Kitchen an essential part of our day. Now you can show your support for your community as we introduce our line of swag, t-shirts, mugs and more.

Every purchase of merchandise benefits the SSP’s Generations Fund. To secure the future of scholarly communications, SSP’s Board of Directors has made a commitment to support an inclusive next generation of professionals by creating the Generations Fund. The Generations Fund will provide sustainable funding for SSP’s Fellowship, Mentoring, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility programs through an endowment. Endowed funds protect these vital programs from unforeseen events like economic downturns, pandemics, and turmoil. After all, a community is only as strong as its next generation of leaders.

Getting yourself some swanky TSK and SSP gear will help us reach our goal of $500,000 to permanently endow these programs. Note: these items also make fabulous gifts for loved ones and colleagues.
