Today marks the first anniversary of the Scholarly Kitchen. Over the past year, we’ve published more than 280 posts, received more than 450 comments from readers, and had a very nice time overall. We’ve expanded our list of authors, and now have a rich set of side dishes, appetizers, and desserts (our contributors’ Twitter feeds) served along the main courses. We’ve covered editorial issues, citation and bibliometric issues, technology issues, business issues, and strategy issues. We’ve learned a lot about blogging as well!
So, thank you for a great first year full of growth, learning, and interesting news. It’s been fun bringing this to you, and we hope you enjoy another year of cognitive calories dining in the Scholarly Kitchen.

Happy Birthday to the cooks and the kitchen!
You’re on my list of blogs I actually read every day, and that is a small list. You’re succinct, readable, interesting, sometimes provocative, insightful and fun. I especially like the conversational tone.
Congratulations. I hear most one-year-olds aren’t nearly so well-behaved.
Thank you!
