According to the agenda, Brian O’Leary just finished presenting on e-reading at today’s NISO Forum on Mobile Technologies in Libraries, being held in Philadelphia. For those of us who couldn’t attend to hear Brian, his slides were kindly posted by NISO. They are packed with information, and make for excellent reading and reference.

Thanks to NISO and Brian for sharing these.

8 Thoughts on "Mobile Reading REALLY Comes of Age — An Information-packed Slide Deck Worth Viewing"

After reading this–and sharing it in my LIn Group–Must say . . . Feel like I just came out of a publishing course. Perhaps even a Masters program! I felt educated. Nice to see numbers and stats grounded in real world context. Thanks for Sharing. Enjoyed the pendulums too–mesmerizing, watched few then back to work!

It had clean and sharp points. Pure information. I loved how it covers all age groups and not be bias, as some others have in the past. ebook industry is still wild from the look of things. What worries me is who is going to archive all this digital born material?
